# Engagement: How to Customize the Follow Button for Spaces

You can change the text and icon for the **Follow** button on your Spaces.

However, the changes are effective for all the spaces, you cannot have different button texts for different Spaces yet.

## Changing Follow Button Text

To change the default text go to **Spaces > Settings > Engagement**

Type in your desired text.

Hit **Save Changes**.

Now, visit any space on your site

## Changing Follow Button Icons

Coming soon in Spaces Engine 1.1.8

You will be able to pick and change the icon for both states here.
