Gamipress Integration

I believe buddyboss has a nice gamipress integration for points and badges and ranks and I believe spaces engines could benefit from a simple gamipress integration to begin with:

1. For example, the reviews that are made on a space/listing could build up points for that listing and eventually badges that could display on the listing like they display on a buddyboss personal profile?

2. As people follow a listing, or as the main admins or editors of a listing make more engagements by posting to the wall of a listing then maybe more points could be gained for that listing.

3. If a user completes all the fields of a listing including adding an avatar or cover image then they get a badge potentially of some discription.

4. As events area posted to a listing using events calendar pro points are earned and again more badges are displayed on the listings pages themselves. Likewise for the WP Job Manager integration that the points can be displayed and badges back on the listing page itself.

I guess the list is endless here really but of course will require gamipress to integrate tightly with the Space Engines.

Maybe others would also like to see engagement incentives for those who run and own spaces/listings on a buddyboss site also. Happy to discuss this further if others have comments.

  1. Spaces Engine Admin

    Gamipress is leading integration with BuddyBoss and the BBapp. Since Spaces is also a heavily integrated partner, that also includes features like ratings, feed, comments, custom field entries, etc., is makes PERFECT sense to include any user interaction on an Spaces page part of the engagement tracking and gamification capabilities across web and app.

    For example, I had a group of teams workting within a Buddy Boss Group, and as long as they engage within Buddy Boss components, we can track and reward engagement. But when they were tasked to build their own Spaces page for their project, 1) We couldn’t automatically reward them, based on completion (like the BBProfile), 2) They started posted their updates in the Spaces Feed, not the Group Feed, which means they did not get credit for that engagement, AND the Spaces feed is still glitchy (meaning it doesn’t show up at first…I have to press twice for feed to load, and it loads slowly), 3) Can’t pull ratings in for reward or recognition either…
