WordPress adds a number after the slug name, if the slug names are taken already. As an Example: if there are many Bakery Miller they will have the slug bakery-miller, bakery-miller-2, bakery-miller-3 and so on. These slugs are also the @names like @bakery-miller, @bakery-miller-2, @bakery-miller-3, and the @name cannot be changed at the moment.

What is needed:

slug names like bakery-miller-“unique random number” like bakery-miller-877hzd9sds6
setting the @name automatically to the same like @bakery-miller-877hzd9sds6, but the owner of the space can change the name to what he like, here is a proof necessary for not having double name in the system, this is done in Buddyboss with the nickname already
