LeadGen/Contact form displayed in spaces enabling the owners to generate potential leads. The form could be built by either the space owner or the site admin depending on feasibility.

We want to charge Vendors who want to create a Business (Spaces) Page on our site. Is this possible? No one would be allowed to create one on their own unless they paid a fee.

For each space owners, it could be nice, they have the possibility to select multiple categories/subcategories instead only one

It would be ideal to allow the admin to add custom fields (similar to Xprofile) into a space, that will then represent back to the members of that space more info and allow great filtering/searching

If you manage multiple profile types, you’ll be able to allow certain profile types to be allowed to create spaces. The ones without permissions, will not be able to create spaces.
